The Approach:

Read each sentence, page or book 3 times – practice makes perfect!
1. Decode
2. Read fluently
3. Comprehend - ‘when [children] can read ‘at a glance’…they are free to think about the meaning of what they read.’
 
Remember: Decodable books are meant to be decodable – your child should feel successful and not struggle excessively!

Pronouncing the sounds.

Please learn how to pronounce the pure sounds, rather than putting an 'uh' sound at the end. Examples of how to do this are below:
